A Greener Future for CQE

As part of our social responsibility initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint, CQE has partnered with HYDI to provide Hydrogen direct injection systems to our fleet of drill rigs. The injection systems will reduce fuel consumption by up to 14%, reduce particulate emissions by up to 80%, and reduce CO2 emissions by 25%. The company continues to explore new technologies including electrification for fitment to our fleet. The installations to our existing fleet will commence as each rig is brought to the works depot for overhaul and all new rigs to the fleet will be fitted with the hydrogen injection units.
